Roadside assistance is an optional coverage that can be added to your car, RV, motorcycle, snowmobile and ATV insurance policy. It provides 24/7 help on the road if you need towing, jump-starting your battery, unlocking your car doors, changing a flat tire, delivering gas and winching.
When you reach out to our roadside assistance service, you’ll first be asked if you’re safe. Then, you’ll confirm the location of your vehicle, your contact details, your preference for follow up (phone or SMS) and other information about your vehicle. You’ll also let us know which service you require, for instance, unlocking your car doors. We’ll follow up with you shortly after your request to confirm the estimated time of arrival of your roadside assistance.
The roadside assistance endorsement allows you to request up to 4 roadside assistance services per year. Jump-starting your car would not incur any fees if you have the roadside assistance endorsement on your insurance policy, and haven’t used up your 4 services yet.
No, you can only add roadside insurance as an add-on to your vehicle insurance policy at a competitive price. Ask your insurance representative about roadside assistance!
