Step-by-step: Register for Online Services

Follow these steps to create your profile via the Intact Insurance App or Client Centre.

    Step 1: Login

    Click on “Login” in the upper right-hand corner of the Intact Assurance website.

    Select “Sign up.”

    Policyholder 
    You’re the person who owns the car or home insurance policy, and your name appears on the contract as the policyholder. 

    Additional Driver  
    You’re listed as driver on the insurance policy of your spouse, parent, or another person who is signed up on my Drive. If you are an Additional Driver, please go to Step 7.

    Step 4: Confirm your identity

    The next step is to confirm your identity. You’ll be asked to enter your email address and your mobile number (optional) to confirm your identity and find your file.

    If you get an error message, it is because we do not have your email on file or if you are an Additional Driver. Please continue to Step 7.

    Step 5: Verify your identity

    You will receive a 6-digit security code to your email. Once received, enter the security code and click “Next.”

    This will let you confirm and secure your account.

    Lastly, you will choose your password and check “I agree to the Terms of Use” then click “Sign Up.”

    Step 7: Additional Driver Registration

    If you are an Additional Driver or we do not have your email on file, you’ll be asked to enter some information: your policy number, full name, date of birth and postal code. If you’ve already signed up for the my Drive™ program, you’ll be asked to enter your driver's licence number. Once your registration is complete, go to Step 4 to confirm your identity and continue through the self-registration steps.

    Welcome! You can now submit and track a claim, access your insurance documents and your proof of auto insurance, and much more via the Intact Insurance App and Client Centre.

    Once the app installed, open it and click on “Login”, then choose your province.

    If it is your first visit, select “Sign up.”

Why should I sign up to the online services?

Client Centre and the Intact Insurance App are quick, practical, and environmentally friendly ways to access your documents and other useful Intact Insurance information. Using these online services makes it easy to access your insurance documents and track your claims.

What information do I need to create my profile in Client Centre or on the Intact Insurance App?

To sign up on the Client Centre or on the app, you’ll need your policy number, your full name, your date of birth and your postal code.

What if I forget my password?

Click on “Forgot password?” to request a new one. We’ll send you an email with instructions on how to easily change your password. For security purposes, you only have 120 minutes to make the change.

I can't log in... What should I do?

For security purposes, we lock accounts that receive multiple login attempts. If you experience this issue, after three failed login attempts, you will receive an email with a password reset request.

Where can I find my PIN to complete my registration?

Your PIN can be found in the insurance documents that were mailed to your address when you became an Intact Insurance client.

How does Intact Insurance protect my data?

Will I receive a paper copy of my proof on insurance even if I have created a profile on the App or Client Centre?

Yes, you will continue to receive your proof of auto insurance by mail. You can also access your proof of insurance directly on the Intact Insurance App.

What is “100% digital” mode?

Is the environment important to you? It matters to us too. By choosing this option in the “Profile” section of the Intact Insurance App or Client Centre, we limit our paper-document mailings to just your proof of insurance. For changes to your policies and all other transactions, we notify you by email, and your documents in our Client Centre will reflect these changes.

If more than one person is listed on a policy, which one has access to Online Services?

Each client has their own profile and can access Client Centre and the Intact Insurance App with their own email address. However, they can only see the policies on which their name appears.

What should I do if my information in Client Centre is incorrect?

If any of the information on your policy, billing or claim documents is incorrect, contact your insurance representative to inform them and correct the information in Client Centre.

If I make a change to my insurance policy, how long does it take for it to appear in my Client Centre?

Any changes made by your insurance representative will appear in your Client Centre within 24 business hours.

If I cancel my contract with Intact Insurance, will I still have access to the Intact Insurance App or Client Centre?

Clients who cancel their insurance contract can continue to access their insurance documents in Client Centre or the Intact Insurance App for 60 days following the cancellation. After this period, they must contact their insurance representative to obtain any documentation they might still want.
