A quick, personalized process

At Intact Insurance, we understand that any incident causing damage to your car is a source of stress for you, and making a claim shouldn’t add to that. To better meet your needs and help you get back to normal as soon as possible, we’ve spared no effort to provide you with a straightforward, personalized experience. Our online service allows you to submit a claim quickly and easily at any time of day (or night), no matter where you are. No need to call us or to dig through your papers to find your policy number—it’s all at your fingertips.

How to submit an online claim

Not too tech-savvy? No problem! The process is intuitive, and all you need is access to a computer or a smartphone. Most answers to questions will be pre-filled for you, and you’ll be guided through the various steps.

Step 1

Log in to Client Centre on your computer, or open the Intact Insurance App and follow the instructions to submit your claim.

Step 2

Select the vehicle in question and the type of event (collision, hit and run, theft or vandalism).

Step 3

Answer a few questions to describe the situation: Who was driving when the incident occurred? Where and when did it take place? Was anyone hurt? And so on.

Step 4

If you’re using the app, you can take and send up to 10 photos of the damaged vehicle to help us document the incident for your file.

Step 5

All done! You’ve submitted your claim in a matter of minutes! One of our claims representatives will contact you within 24 hours (or the next business day) to start your claim. They can answer all your questions and help you get through the claims process quickly.
