Who is Intact Insurance?

I have a Jevco policy. Am I still insured?
Your insurance coverage stays the same. Nothing relating to your policy, coverage, premium or claims handling will change until your policy comes up for renewal, provided you make no change to your policy. You are not required to do anything at this time.

 

Why was Jevco acquired?
The deal provides Intact Insurance with the opportunity to increase its product offering in Business Insurance and Personal Automobile insurance, in particular recreational vehicles. This will allow Intact Insurance to offer even more solutions to its customers.

 

Does my broker stay the same?
Intact Insurance and Jevco both work with a network of independent insurance brokers. The acquisition of Jevco does not affect your relationship with your broker in any way.

 

Do I need to do anything now?
There is no need to do anything at this point. All details relating to your coverage, premium, claims reporting or servicing will be the same as usual until your policy comes up for renewal. Please speak with your broker if you have questions or need to update your personal information.

 

Will Jevco remain in operation in any capacity?
Jevco will remain in operation for certain personal automobile insurance policies in Ontario.

 

Who do I call if I have a Claim?
If you have a claim anytime before your renewal, you should contact your broker. If it is an emergency and you are unable to reach your broker, you can call the Jevco 24-hour claims line:

If you have an existing claim on your Jevco policy, please follow up with your adjuster. If you are not sure who your adjuster is, please call the Jevco claims line and they will put you in touch with someone who can assist you.
